\"Escapade\"\"After a few days spent wandering the streets and museums of Florence, it can sometimes happen that you want to take to the open sea a bit, to ” be in the green.”\u00a0The hills surrounding the city are great escapes, especially if the weather is nice! Florence is a city built on the banks of the Arno River and surrounded by hills, an ideal place to easily and quickly enjoy the Florentine countryside. Do as the Florentines do! On Sundays, when it is too hot in the “wide valley,” they go to the hills to find relaxation and coolness. I propose here a fun tour, by electric bike or vintage Fiat 500, to get out of the city, and discover the surroundings of Florence. An electric bicycle also called an e-bike, is a bicycle with an integrated electric motor that can be used for propulsion. In other words, you can choose to pedal or use the electric device. The Fiat 500 Vintage is the hatchback of the 1970s, the emblem of Italian families at the time.

The guided tour starts from one of the squares in the city center and heads along the Arno River towards the walls of Florence to exit the historic center<\/b>

\"\"Along the way, stop at the medieval church of San Miniato, with its splendid 13th-century mosaics. Behind the church is an imposing and monumental cemetery, called Porte Sante, where many local personalities are buried. Not far away is a panoramic terrace: the Piazzale Michelangelo. This square, built during the 19th century, is a must-see during your stay in Florence: a vast and splendid view of Florence from above. A copy of Michelangelo’s famous David is at the center of the square. During the summer months, I recommend scheduling the guided tour at the end of the day to reach Piazzale Michelangelo at sunset\u2014a time when the light is unique. Return to the historic center of Florence through the small San Miniato gate. Before returning to the starting point, we are ready to enjoy a good Florentine ice cream!<\/span>
