"Just a note to thank you for the precious time we had with you during our visit to Florence. Angèle and I really enjoyed the few hours we spent with you. It was a highlight of our visit to Italy. We were able to chat, ask lots of questions and learn a lot about the Renaissance in art. We'd been planning our trip for several months and were hoping not only to admire the works of the great masters but also to gain a better understanding of everything that was at the root of the revival at that time (perspective, among other things).
